I'm currently using this blog in a summer course to learn how to use blogs. I plan to use it next year to promote more communication between school and home.

- I have been a teacher for 24 years, 8 in secondary business education, 15 in fourth and fifth grades, and 1 year in gifted education. I teach in Hilton Central Schools, live in Rochester, and spend many weekends and summer weeks in Penn Yan on Keuka Lake. For fun I enjoy biking, running, swimming, yoga, triathlon training, sailing, hiking, cooking, reading, learning and exploring new and historic places.
